An interdisciplinary visual artist from Fujian, China, currently based in London, pursuing an MA in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art.
My practice spans installation art, interactive media, and experimental publishing. I am interested in how meaning is generated and shaped within the systems we inhabit, such as language, imagery, social structures and digital platforms. I do not view these systems as passive backdrops; instead, I explore how they actively participate in constructing our perceptions, behaviors and modes of interpretation
I am particularly fascinated by the process of making the familiar seem unfamiliar. My creative practice often begins with ready-made materials, employing collage and reconstruction to reassemble familiar visual elements. This approach not only invites people to view things often taken for granted from a fresh perspective but also reveals new possibilities for observing everyday experiences.
